YouTube FAQ

youtube faq

Yes! All my music is free to use on YouTube but, since it’s all original compositions, all my indie releases are registered on the Content ID system and the video will be de-monetized by default.

This doesn’t have to do with copyright strikes and doesn’t affect your channel in any way; if you’re not monetizing your channel or if this is fine for you feel free to use anything.

Yes! If you’re a content creator (vlogger, gamer, streamer, etc.) and want to monetize your videos I usually have no problems in releasing the claims and letting you do so!

If the music is properly credited in the description (check the FAQ below) you can either dispute the claim directly on YouTube (click here if you don’t know how) or reach out at copyright@raimu.ch so that I can remove the claim!

if you’re a vlogger, gamer, artist or similar you should be good to go! Feel free to reach out to me for any doubts!

if you create music mixes without asking permission beforehand and no added content (stolen/ai artwork doesn’t count as added content) the claim(s) will likely not be removed.

Thanks for asking this:)

The following is not required but, if my songs are used together with other music and you want to be precise:

Timestamp – Raimu – Track Title(s) – Spotify track link

As mentioned before, all of my music is protected on YouTube.

If the music is credited properly (check the above FAQ) you will usually be able to monetize the music: you can file a dispute directly through YouTube (click here if you don’t know how to do it) or you can reach out at copyright@raimu.ch to have the claim removed.

if you’re a vlogger, gamer, artist or similar (and the music is credited properly) you should be good to go!

Yes, you can!

The best thing for crediting us artists would be using a simple add-on that lets you show Artist – Title of the music playing, or configuring a bot to answer the !song command with that info – If you can’t or don’t want, a shout out is appreciated enough 🙂

No, don’t worry.

The only chance this could happen is if I casually find a ghost channel with 24/7 radios making lots of subs money with uncredited music from artists:)

Some of it yes! Just search for Raimu:)
